Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for secure solar panel-to-electric vehicle communication employing hybrid classical–post-quantum cryptography. The system comprises: a Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) unit configured to authenticate a smart inverter as connected to a solar panel; a continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CV-QKD) unit configured to establish a quantum-secure shared key between the smart inverter and an edge gateway using homodyne detection; a lattice-based post-quantum cryptography unit configured to securely connect and communicate between a smart grid controller and an EV charging station; and a OTP generation unit configured to generate OTP between EV station and the EV. The system for secure solar panel-to-electric vehicle communication employing hybrid classical–post-quantum cryptography is integrated in a network of Solar Panel- Electric Vehicle. Figure 1A
