Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for secure authentication using fuzzy algebraic transformations. The system receives authentication information associated with a user or authorized entity and processes the information through feature extraction, normalization, and fuzzy membership generation to obtain a fuzzy authentication representation. A fuzzy algebraic transformation engine transforms the fuzzy representation using one or more protected transformation parameters and algebraic operations to generate a protected authentication representation. During authentication, a newly acquired authentication sample is subjected to corresponding processing and transformation, optionally incorporating a session-specific challenge or controlled perturbation. A fuzzy matching engine determines similarity between an enrolled protected representation and an authentication-time protected representation without requiring direct comparison of the original authentication characteristics. A confidence evaluation module generates an authentication confidence score using similarity, feature reliability, transformation integrity, contextual information, and security conditions. An authentication decision is generated according to an adaptive threshold. The system further provides revocable protected representations, multi-modal authentication, replay-resistant session transformations, anomaly detection, privacy-preserving processing, and distributed or cloud-based implementation, thereby providing a secure and adaptable authentication architecture for digital, biometric, behavioural, device-based, and multi-factor authentication applications.
