MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115284 A) filed by Ravindra Babu Annam; and Machavarapu Hema Sree on September 25, 2026, for System And Method For Runtime Enforcement Of Dynamic Authorization Boundaries For Autonomous Agent Actions.
Inventors include Ravindra Babu Annam; and Machavarapu Hema Sree.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) and method for runtime enforcement of dynamic authorization boundaries for actions initiated by an autonomous software agent are disclosed. The system (100) includes a memory (102) storing executable instructions and one or more processors (104) configured to implement an authorization boundary engine (106) and a runtime enforcement engine (108). The authorization boundary engine (106) receives, during runtime, an action generated by the autonomous software agent for execution with respect to a computing resource, determines a dynamic authorization boundary based on a runtime state associated with the autonomous software agent and/or the computing resource, and updates the dynamic authorization boundary in response to a change in the runtime state. The runtime enforcement engine (108) evaluates the action against the dynamic authorization boundary before execution and selectively permits or prevents execution of the action based on the evaluation. Subsequently generated actions are evaluated against the updated dynamic authorization boundary. FIG. 1
