Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RUNTIME AUTHORIZATION USING DYNAMICALLY ACTIVATED TIERED SUB-IDENTITIES BASED ON PASSIVE PRESENCE SIGNALS Disclosed are a system (100) and method (200) for runtime authorization using dynamically activated tiered sub-identities based on passive presence signals. The system (100) includes a user device (102), an identity verification device (103), and a server (104) having processing circuitry (124) and a storage unit (122). The processing circuitry (124) maintains a primary user identity and multiple tiered sub-identities, receives passive presence signals, and computes a confidence score indicative of user activity. An inference model determines a user work context and associated application categories. Access is controlled by activating or suspending corresponding sub-identities to permit or prevent authentication token issuance without modifying entitlements. The system dynamically adjusts access in real time based on contextual signals to enhance security and usability. Figure 1 will be the reference.
