The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system (100) and method for camera-free road anomaly detection, crowdsourced hazard mapping, and proximity-based driver alerting. A computing device (102) comprising an inertial sensor (116), an orientation sensor (118), a location sensor (120), and an audio output unit (122) executes a sensor acquisition module (124), a validation module (126), an adaptive calibration module (128), a waveform classification module (130), an event repository module (132), a communication module (134), and a proximity alert module (140), and a server (108) executes a clustering module (136) and a trust management module (138). The validation module (126) rejects non-driving motion through a fail-fast gate pipeline, the waveform classification module (130) classifies road anomalies from inertial waveform parameters without magnitude thresholding, and the proximity alert module (140) generates deduplicated spoken alerts through the audio output unit (122).
