MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641096336 A) filed by Gudlyf Mobility Pvt Ltd on August 10, 2026, for System And Method For Resonant Structural State Evaluation Of Composite Cylindrical Containment Bodies.
Inventors include Ajeet Babu Kumar Parasumanna; and Kumar Seshaier Parasumanna.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for the non-destructive dynamic structural integrity assessment of a composite pressure containing cylinder (10) having a first metallic boss (11) and a second metallic boss (12). A standardised, force-normalised impact excitation is applied at predefined locations of the cylinder (10), and the resulting vibration response is reduced to a Frequency Response Function. Extracted dynamic and modal features are combined with per-cylinder manufacturing metadata into a dynamic structural fingerprint (510) stored, indexed by a unique cylinder identifier (511), as its manufacturing baseline. A dynamic good life health index (620) is computed relative to the baseline, and the cylinder (10) is classified as accept, accept with observation, rework or reject. Each subsequent lifecycle inspection of the same cylinder (10) is compared against its own baseline, whereby in-service degradation is distinguished from the intrinsic as-manufactured signature.
