Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RELIABILITY-GATED SANITATION MONITORING, WASTE-COLLECTION CONTROL AND SERVICE VERIFICATION The present invention discloses a system and method of reliability-based sanitation monitoring, waste collection, and service verification. An evidence acquisition interface obtains sanitation evidence relating to a waste receptacle or sanitation location, which includes evidence such as images, locations, fill levels, depths, weights, timestamps or services. A processor uses machine learning algorithms to determine the sanitation state condition as well as a reliability score. In case the reliability score does not meet the required reliability threshold, an evidence acquisition operation is modified and no collection instruction is issued. In case the threshold is met, the system assigns a service priority level, chooses a collection resource and issues a collection instruction with physical service completion criteria. Evidence obtained after service is spatiotemporally associated with the collection instruction and compared against evidence obtained before service to find out if there is a physical change in the sanitation state condition. Collection instructions are closed if the criteria have been met; otherwise they are kept open, corrected, reopened or reassigned. Fig. 3
