MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073701 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for System And Method For Recording Battery Lifecycle Information.
Inventor includes Ankur Jain.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECORDING BATTERY LIFECYCLE INFORMATION The present invention relates to a battery lifecycle logging system (100) and method (200) for selective storage of battery lifecycle information. The system (100) comprises a parameter acquisition unit (102) configured to acquire operational parameters of at least one battery cell, an event evaluation unit (104) configured to detect battery events, a record generation unit (106) configured to generate event-based records, and a memory unit (108) configured to store only event-based records while excluding continuous operational data between events. The method (200) comprises acquiring (202) operational parameters, detecting (204) battery events, generating (206) snapshot records, anomaly records, and usage-profile records, and storing (208) the generated records. The invention enables efficient battery lifecycle monitoring, anomaly tracking, and usage analysis with substantially reduced storage requirements compared to continuous data logging approaches. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
