Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REAL-TIME STRESS MONITORING USING BIOMEDICAL SENSORS Stress is a growing health concern that affects both mental and physical well-being. The present invention discloses a real-time stress monitoring system that integrates multiple biomedical sensors to measure physiological parameters associated with stress. A galvanic skin response sensor detects changes in skin conductivity, a pulse oximeter measures heart rate variability, and a temperature sensor monitors body temperature fluctuations. The collected signals are processed by an Arduino microcontroller, which classifies stress levels into Normal, Mild Stress, or High Stress based on predefined thresholds. The results are displayed instantly on an LCD screen, and high stress conditions trigger an alert mechanism to prompt immediate relaxation measures. The system is compact, low-cost, non-invasive, and user-friendly, making it suitable for daily use in healthcare institutions, workplaces, academic environments, driver monitoring, and home wellness tracking. This invention contributes to proactive mental health management by enabling continuous monitoring and early detection of stress conditions.
