The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: A real-time pollution monitoring and rider advisory system (100) for a two-wheeler (102) powered by an internal combustion engine includes one or more sensing units (104) to acquire operational data associated with two-wheeler (102), a localization unit (106) determines movement-related information, a rider guidance interface (110) to provide rider guidance, and a processing unit (108) operatively coupled with sensing units (104), localization unit (106), and rider guidance interface (110). Processing unit (108) may include one or more processors (108A) and a memory (108B) storing instructions which, when executed, cause processing unit (108) to receive operational and localization data, perform multimodal fusion through a sensor fusion unit (108D-2), analyze fused data through a context interpretation unit (108D-3) to determine pollution-related operational conditions, compute a pollution index score (PIS) through a pollution scoring unit (108D-4), and generate rider guidance through an advisory generation unit (108D-5) based on computed pollution index score (PIS).
