Inventors include Ravichandran, Harini Shree; Kaliyaperumal, Deepa; and Pareddy, Tanvi Reddy.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wearable dermatological monitoring systems. A system (100) and a method (300) are disclosed for real-time monitoring and detection of dermatological conditions. The system (100) includes a wearable device (102) having a flexible substrate supporting multiple sensing elements (104) configured to acquire physiological information, optical information, and environmental information associated with a skin surface. A memory (106) stores predefined threshold values and processor-executable instructions. A processor (108) receives the acquired information, compares acquired information with corresponding predefined threshold values stored in the memory (106), determines one or more dermatological conditions by matching comparison results with predefined condition criteria, and generates a real-time dashboard output including the acquired information and the determined dermatological conditions. The disclosed system (100) enables continuous, non-invasive dermatological monitoring for identification of skin conditions including normal skin homeostasis, xerosis, erythema, acute inflammation, ultraviolet-induced skin damage, atopic dermatitis, thermal stress, and poor blood circulation.
