Abstract: TITLE: System and Method for Producing Modular Building and Furniture Components Using Multi-Layer Plastic Waste–Epoxy Composite The present invention relates to a composite partition panel fabricated from recycled multilayer plastic (MLP) waste encapsulated within a cured epoxy resin matrix and to a method of manufacturing the same. The method comprises cleaning, drying and shredding multilayer plastic waste, mixing the shredded plastic with an epoxy resin system including a curing agent to obtain a substantially homogeneous composite mixture, introducing the mixture into a mould, curing the mixture to form a rigid composite panel, and subsequently removing and finishing the panel. The cured epoxy matrix securely encapsulates the multilayer plastic particles to provide structural integrity, dimensional stability and moisture resistance. Optional additives including pigments, fillers and reinforcing materials may be incorporated according to application requirements. The resulting composite panel is suitable for use as interior partition walls, decorative panels, furniture boards and other non-load-bearing architectural components. The invention provides an environmentally sustainable solution for converting difficult-to-recycle multilayer plastic waste into useful construction materials while reducing dependence on conventional wood-based partition products.
