MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641093241 A) filed by Rachapudi, Chetan Teja on July 31, 2026, for System And Method For Privacy-Preserving Structural Originality Verification Of Composition Within Host Rendering Environment.
Inventor includes Rachapudi, Chetan Teja.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and method for real-time structural originality verification of musical content within DAW environment. The system (100) receives audio data, MIDI data, or combined audio-MIDI streams and analyzes the content using a real-time-safe architecture that separates low-latency processing from computationally intensive analysis. The system (100) extracts structural musical features including melodic contour, rhythmic patterns, harmonic progression, motif persistence, cadence behavior, and texture characteristics to generate structural representation of musical material. The representation is compared against registries of previously stored musical structure signatures to determine similarity, originality risk, confidence, and rarity metrics. A multi-perspective judge engine evaluates the content from multiple analytical viewpoints, while an adaptive assessment engine combines similarity, rarity, confidence, and contextual factors to generate a technical originality assessment. The system (100) provides explainable feedback, warnings, review recommendations, and variation suggestions, enabling proactive originality verification during music composition and production workflows.
