Abstract: A distributed data-processing system and method provide privacy-preserving, version-aware retrieval of investor and startup records. An authenticated ingestion gateway generates source-version events, and a provenance engine normalises heterogeneous attributes and maintains lineage metadata. A confidential-feature isolation module separates searchable attributes from restricted values. A dependency map identifies feature representations affected by source amendments, enabling selective replacement of entries in an incremental vector index. Policy-constrained retrieval obtains eligible candidates for calibrated predictive inference, which generates uncertainty indicators. A bilateral disclosure gateway selectively releases verified attributes pursuant to independently authenticated, attribute-scoped permissions. An integrity-protected audit log associates retrieval and disclosure decisions with corresponding source, feature and model versions. The architecture limits unnecessary recomputation and confines confidential information to authorised processing and disclosure domains. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2].
