MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641111840 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on September 17, 2026, for System And Method For Preventing Predetermined Adverse Event In Internet Of Things (iot) Network.
Inventors include Sahaya Beni Prathiba; Sherly A; Kalyanasundaram V; Keerthi Aj; and Yuvan Shankar Babu K.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system (100) and a method (200) for preventing predetermined adverse event in an Internet of Things (IoT) network. The system (100) includes input acquisition unit (102) to acquire data associated with environmental parameters of IoT network. A processor (104) coupled to an input acquisition unit (102) includes memory (106) storing instructions that cause processor (104) to receive acquired data as present-time environmental data. The processor (104) encodes present-time environmental data through a temporal signal encoder (108) into quantum-state representations corresponding to a future time interval. A chronon field modulator (110) generates temporally displaced signal link enabling reception of future-state information through a retrocausal signal transmission path (112). The future-state information is validated and integrated with present-time environmental data through temporal-spatial integrator (114) to generate risk-mapped environmental representations. A pre-emptive control unit (116) controls operational parameters of IoT network prior to occurrence of predetermined adverse event.
