MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621069939 A) filed by Dr. Shirely Pillai on June 04, 2026, for System And Method For Predictive Talent Retention And Turnover Analysis Using Integrated Talent Management.

Inventor includes Dr. Shirely Pillai.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: Employee turnover in the retail sector imposes substantial costs through recruitment, training, and lost productivity. Existing talent management systems rely on retrospective analytics without providing forward-looking individual-level turnover predictions integrated with proactive retention interventions. The present invention discloses a system and method comprising a data ingestion module aggregating multi-source employee data, a feature engineering module generating approximately one hundred and twenty retail-sector-specific predictive features across six analytical dimensions, and an ensemble machine learning architecture combining gradient boosted decision trees, long short-term memory recurrent neural networks, and regularised logistic regression through meta- learner stacking to generate calibrated turnover intention probability scores. The system further comprises a retention intervention engine using Shapley Additive Explanations feature importance analysis, a real-time manager dashboard with mobile push notifications, and a closed-loop feedback module enabling adaptive retraining.
