Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Predictive Privacy-Utility Optimization Using Cognitive Privacy Twins The present invention relates to a system and method for predictive privacy-utility optimization using cognitive privacy twins. The invention comprises a cognitive privacy twin engine configured to generate one or more cognitive privacy twins representing privacy-related characteristics associated with one or more data elements. A multidimensional sensitivity assessment module determines a composite sensitivity index based on contextual sensitivity, semantic sensitivity, behavioral sensitivity, legal sensitivity, and re-identification risk. A predictive privacy exposure assessment module forecasts future privacy risks, while an adversarial privacy simulation module evaluates privacy vulnerabilities through simulated attack scenarios. A neuro-symbolic privacy reasoning engine evaluates privacy policies and regulatory requirements, and a neuro-adaptive privacy controller determines adaptive privacy-preserving actions. The system selectively applies privacy-preserving mechanisms while evaluating utility metrics associated with protected data. Through continuous feedback learning, the invention dynamically optimizes privacy protection and analytical utility, enabling proactive privacy governance, improved compliance, enhanced utility retention, and reduced privacy exposure risks across diverse data-processing environments.
