MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631029036 A) filed by Bera, Sumona on March 11, 2026, for System And Method For Predictive Identification Of Cumulative Harm States Arising From Energy Delivery.

Inventor includes Bera, Sumona.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system (102) and method (600) for predictive identification of cumulative harm states arising from energy delivery. The system (102) comprises an engineered sensing interface (202) positioned proximate to an energy–interaction region, one or more sensing elements (208, 212) configured to acquire physical signals associated with interaction dynamics, and a computational inference module (110) configured to analyze the acquired signals over time. The system (102) operates as an advisory, human-in-the-loop safety layer and provides interpretable risk information to an operator without autonomously controlling or interrupting energy delivery. The disclosed architecture is adaptable across multiple geometries, materials, sensor modalities, and energy types, and may be integrated as an add-on, embedded, or retrofit component within existing platforms. The system (102) improves situational awareness and enables earlier, informed intervention to reduce the likelihood of irreversible harm.
