MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641110292 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on September 14, 2026, for System And Method For Predictive Edge-Based Hardware Actuation Using Cross-Domain Generative Modeling.

Inventors include Srinivasan P; Tamil Selvan P; and Sri Krishna R.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A predictive edge-based cyber-physical safety system (100) comprises a piezoelectric acoustic sensor array (102a-102d), an electrical telemetry sensing module (104a- 104b), and an analog-to-digital signal conditioning frontend (106) configured to generate synchronized multi-modal data. A bare-metal processing core (202), a zero- copy volatile RAM core (204), and a quantized Generative Adversarial Network engine (302) process the synchronized data using synthetic cross-domain failure signatures. An asynchronous anomaly evaluator (304) identifies anomaly conditions from synchronized acoustic and electrical information and generates a deterministic digital trip token (306). The digital trip token is transmitted through a hardwired high-speed driver interface (402) to an electromechanical bypass relay or actuator assembly (404), while a physical feedback latency loop (406) provides hardware feedback to the processing core. The system further includes an isolated unidirectional output diode (206) for protected outbound communication.
