MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611111187 A) filed by Mahi Pal Singh on September 16, 2026, for System And Method For Predictive Attack-Path Escalation Detection And Resilience-Aware Intervention In Dynamic Cloud Environments.

Inventor includes Mahi Pal Singh.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a predictive cloud cyber-resilience system (100) configured to identify and mitigate an emerging cyber threat before a predicted attack path reaches a critical cloud resource. A telemetry collection component (102) receives security observations associated with cloud entities. Processing circuitry (104) generates and continuously updates a temporal cloud-security graph representing cloud entities and changing communication, authentication, access, dependency, or trust relationships. Successive graph states are analyzed to determine a temporally related multi-event attack trajectory and generate an escalation probability. Feasible propagation paths toward critical cloud resources are identified and assigned propagation probabilities. A future-impact risk value is generated using escalation probability, propagation probability, resource criticality and, in some embodiments, vulnerability exposure and predicted impact. A resilience intervention is selected based on predicted future risk and estimated operational impact before the trajectory reaches the critical resource. An observed intervention outcome updates a subsequent security state for a subsequent prediction cycle. The disclosure further relates to a method (200) for predictive attack-path escalation detection and resilience-aware intervention.
