MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521124922 A) filed by Mg Health Tech Inc. on December 10, 2025, for System And Method For Predictive Asthma Exacerbation Monitoring.
Inventors include Manikandan Muthu; and Ganesh Natesan.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREDICTIVE ASTHMA EXACERBATION MONITORING Disclosed is a system (100) for predictive asthma exacerbation monitoring. The system includes a data acquisition unit (104) configured to receive physiological data from one or more sensors (102), including respiratory acoustics, breathing rate, cough frequency, wheeze intensity, heart rate, and motion parameters, and to convert the signals into digital time-series datasets. Processing circuitry (106) performs normalization, noise reduction, respiratory-cycle segmentation, preliminary and wheeze-specific feature extraction, and temporal analysis using convolutional and long short-term memory neural network architectures to generate an exacerbation prediction score over a forecast horizon. The system may further maintain encrypted storage (136) of raw and processed data and generate visualization datasets comprising physiological trends, symptom indicators, and risk alerts for display on a user device. The present disclosure also relates to a method (200) for predictive asthma exacerbation monitoring. Figure 1 will be the reference
