MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641111992 A) filed by Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation; M. Seshanna; and K. B. V. Brahma Rao on September 17, 2026, for System And Method For Prediction-Based Resource Provisioning Using Modified Supervised Learning Algorithms.

Inventors include M. Seshanna; and K. B. V. Brahma Rao.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A system and method for prediction-based resource provisioning using modified supervised learning algorithms are disclosed. The system collects historical and real- time resource utilization data associated with computing resources and preprocesses the data to generate a training dataset. A supervised learning algorithm is modified by dynamically adjusting one or more learning parameters, model features, or training operations based on characteristics of the training dataset. The modified algorithm is trained to generate predicted resource demand for one or more subsequent time intervals. The predicted resource demand is compared with available resource capacity to determine a resource provisioning requirement. Based on the determined requirement, computing resources are automatically provisioned, de- provisioned, or reallocated. The modification of the supervised learning algorithm reduces training iterations and training time while maintaining or improving prediction accuracy. The disclosed system thereby enables adaptive and efficient resource allocation, minimizes resource underutilization and over-provisioning, and improves responsiveness to changing computational workloads.
