The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for predicting microstructural and mechanical properties and determining thermo- mechanical processing parameters in thermo-mechanically processed steels. The system (100) comprises a computing device (102) executing plurality of modules (116) having a data acquisition module (118), a preprocessing and normalization module (120), a metallurgical process-property correlation module (122), a microstructural-property prediction module (124), a mechanical-property prediction module (126), an inverse process-determination module (128), and an output generation module (130). The system (100) receives experimentally generated thermo-mechanical datasets, predicts grain size, Vickers microhardness, grain-boundary statistics, and EBSD misorientation, and determines processing parameters corresponding to target properties. Sequential inter-module operations establish integrated process-structure-property relationships, enabling simultaneous forward prediction and inverse determination, thereby reducing experimental trials, improving process-design efficiency, and facilitating scientifically guided industrial thermo-mechanical process optimization for steel manufacturing and heat-treatment operations.
