Abstract: [055] A cardiovascular monitoring system and method are disclosed for predicting heart-failure deterioration risk and detecting heartbeat anomalies using synchronized multimodal physiological evidence. Physiological signals including cardiac electrical and/or pulse-wave signals are temporally aligned and assigned channel-specific confidence values. Beat-level, rhythm, morphology, perfusion, variability, and longitudinal trend features are derived over different temporal windows. A patient- specific adaptive baseline is updated from stable reliable data and is restricted from adapting during persistent abnormal states. A heartbeat anomaly engine evaluates rhythm, morphology, electrical-mechanical coupling, and persistence, while a heart-failure risk engine evaluates acute and chronic feature trajectories relative to the adaptive baseline. A separate reliability score is determined from signal quality, modality agreement, baseline stability, and temporal persistence. Alert generation is jointly controlled by physiological risk or anomaly evidence and the reliability score, thereby reducing artifact-driven alerts and preserving progressive deterioration trends.
