MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611116805 A) filed by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University on September 30, 2026, for System And Method For Polymer Network Formation Via Thermal And Photochemical Activation.
Inventors include Dr. Meet Kamal; Dr. R. K. Dwivedi; and Shikha Mishra.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Abstract The present disclosure discloses a crosslink-assisted polymer generation system (100) comprising a containment basin (102) retaining a first compound mixture including a carbon-based nanomaterial and a photoreactive monomer, a thermal activation chamber (104) enclosing the containment basin (102) and holding an oxidizing initiator in regulated contact with the first compound mixture, a crosslink infusion conduit (106) traversing the thermal activation chamber (104) and channelling a bifunctional aromatic compound into the first compound mixture to produce a polymeric network adjacent to the carbon-based nanomaterial, a solvent suspension vessel (108) adjoining the crosslink infusion conduit (106) and supplying a polar medium which sustains the mobility of polymer chains formed within the polymeric network, and an optical substrate holder (110) arranged beneath the solvent suspension vessel (108) and supporting the resulting polymer for exposure to a fluorescence excitation source, wherein the optical substrate holder (110) permits emission measurement of the polymeric network.
