Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) and method that monitors a physiological condition of a potted plant through temporal characteristics of plant bio- electrical signals and selectively control root-zone aeration and irrigation. The system (100) comprises a double-wall plant pot (102), a physiological sensing assembly (110), an environmental sensing assembly (116), a processing and control assembly (122), a driver circuit (128), a root-zone actuation assembly (130), an irrigation subsystem (150), and a PCB mounting assembly (160). The system (100) integrates physiological sensing, environmental sensing, electronic control, aeration pathways, and irrigation pathways within a double-wall pot structure that separates the root-zone medium from protected electronic and fluid-routing regions. The system (100) operates aeration, airflow heating, sensing, and irrigation through controlled duty cycles and supports regulated external-power operation and rechargeable-battery operation for reducing unnecessary power consumption.
