Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PHISHING URL DETECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING The present disclosure relates to a system and method for phishing URL detection using machine learning. A candidate URL is canonicalized and processed to derive lexical, host, transport, redirect, content, structural, or behavioral features together with feature-quality information indicating availability and reliability of the respective features. One or more machine-learning models generate a phishing risk value. A confidence and verification module evaluates calibrated confidence, feature completeness, and model consistency and selectively initiates secondary verification when the initial result is insufficiently reliable. Secondary verification may acquire an additional feature group, analyze a redirect chain, verify host or certificate information, retrieve webpage structure, or invoke a further model. A verified security classification controls a browser, gateway, message filter, proxy, or other access-control component to block, quarantine, warn, isolate, or permit access. Reliability-qualified feedback may subsequently update calibration or model parameters.
