MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521039598 A) filed by Passenger Drone Research Private Limited on April 24, 2025, for System And Method For Optimized Farm Spraying Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

Inventor includes Kanchan Prakash Borade.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a spraying system (100) for optimized farm spraying. The system includes a cloud server (104) configured to receive satellite imagery of a farm field, analyze the imagery to identify affected areas requiring treatment, generate a spraying plan based on the identified areas, and transmit the plan. The system also includes an unmanned aerial vehicle (102) configured to receive the spraying plan from the cloud server, navigate the farm field according to the plan, and dynamically adjust a spray rate of an agrochemical based on the plan as it traverses the identified affected areas. The cloud server (104) may generate an NDVI map, identify affected areas based on the map, generate polygon boundaries around the areas, and include the boundaries in the plan. The unmanned aerial vehicle (102) may adjust its flight path based on the boundaries and determine agrochemical dosage for each area. FIG. 1 is selected
