Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZATION OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF HVAC SYSTEM IN A DATA CENTER The present disclosure discloses a system and method for optimization of energy consumption 5 of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in a data center is disclosed. The method comprises the step of receiving a plurality of inputs associated with a data center at predetermined intervals, wherein the plurality of inputs comprises manipulated variable (MV) inputs and disturbance variable (DV) inputs, determining, using a machine learning (ML) model, a plurality of output variables of the HVAC system, based on the MV inputs and the 10 DV inputs, and predicting MV inputs for reducing the energy consumption of the HVAC system in the data center. The predicting comprises applying an optimization function on the plurality of output variables to generate the predicted MV inputs. The optimization function comprises plurality of parameters including Service level agreements (SLAs), total energy consumption of the HVAC system, and physics-based constraints. 15 FIG. 1
