Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMAL LOAD MANAGEMENT IN HVAC SYSTEMS USING INTEGRATED THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for optimal load management in HVAC systems using integrated thermal energy storage. The system (100) comprises of at least one chiller (102), plurality of thermal energy storage (TES) tanks (104a, 104b, 104c), control unit (106), plurality of valves (108a, 108b, 108c, 108d, 108e), air handling unit (110), primary pump (112) and secondary pump (114). Further, plurality of thermal energy storage (TES) tanks (104a, 104b, 104c) comprise of phase change material (PCM). The present invention addresses efficient operation of HVAC systems integrated with TES systems by considering situations where off-peak demand costs are consideration, leading to potential cost savings. The integration of multi-capacity thermal energy storage (TES) tanks (104a, 104b, 104c) to manage flexible loading conditions further enhances system (100). The TES tanks (104a, 104b, 104c) incorporate phase change material (PCM) tabs, storing latent heat within chiller's (102) operating temperature limits.
