Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING-STATE-BASED ISOLATION FAULT LOCALIZATION AND HIGH-VOLTAGE SAFETY MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES The present invention relates to a high-voltage isolation fault localization system comprising a High Voltage Battery Pack (100), Battery Management System (102), Power Distribution Unit (104), Isolation Monitoring Unit (106), Motor Controller (108), DC-DC Converter (110), On-Board Charger (112), CCS2 Charging Interface (114), and Type 2 AC Charging Interface (116). The Isolation Monitoring Unit (106) identifies an operating state and performs a first insulation measurement between a high-voltage electrical system and a chassis. Upon detecting an abnormal insulation condition, the Isolation Monitoring Unit (106) selectively isolates a high-voltage subsystem associated with the operating state and performs a second insulation measurement. The first and second insulation measurements are compared to determine an association between the abnormal insulation condition and the selectively isolated high-voltage subsystem. The system thereby provides operating-state-dependent isolation fault localization across vehicle OFF, vehicle ON, AC charging, and DC charging configurations. FIG. 1
