Abstract: The present invention discloses a system (100) for occupant protection during windshield impacts of a vehicle comprises a first set of sensors (102) and a control unit (116). The control unit (116) further performs any one of active safety operations, passive safety operations, or activating an alert unit (126), depending on a specific circumstance that is detected. The first set of sensors (102) comprises a camera unit (104), radar sensors (106), and glass breakage detectors (108). The system (100) provides enhanced occupant protection through automated responses to windshield impacts and potential collisions.
