Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION-AS-A-SERVICE IN A CELLULAR NETWORK According to the present disclosure, a system and a method for providing information-as-a-service in a cellular network are disclosed. The system (1000) comprises a query processing unit (QPU) (110) deployed in a cellular network (200), at least one third party entity (120a, 120b, 120c) communicably connected to the query processing unit (110) via a first interface (130) and a plurality of network functions (141, 142, 143, 144, 160) communicably connected to the query processing unit (110) via a second interface (150). The query processing unit (110) is configured to receive an input query from at least one third party entity (120), interpret and validate the input query, translating the validated input query into multiple network function queries, and transmit the queries to the corresponding network functions and return with a response corresponding to the input query to at least one third party entity (120) through the first interface (130).
