Abstract: A system (200) and method for near-real-time clearing of card payment transactions is disclosed. The system comprises an early clearing module (ECM) that transmits per-transaction clearing intent message upon authorization approval within a predetermined duration; and an ECM engine comprising an event-sourced registry implemented as an append-only event log, a micro-window manager that accumulates clearing intents on a per (acquirer, issuer) pair basis, a machine-learning velocity engine that predicts an optimal accumulation-window closure time, a status-query handler that returns clearing status using a composite transaction key, and an exception notification generator that issues push notifications upon post-acknowledgment state changes. The ECM validates each clearing intent message, synchronously acknowledges it with a queue reference, accumulates and closes the micro-window, dispatches clearing records to an issuer, and transmits a clearing result file, thereby reducing clearing-confirmation latency without altering authorization flow, settlement finality, or chargeback architecture.
