Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a system and method for natural language processing-based chatbot assistance. A user utterance is normalized and processed to determine intent, entities and confidence values, and a structured dialogue context state is maintained across conversational turns. An authorized knowledge or service scope is selected using session authorization and the dialogue state, after which evidence records or service results are obtained. A candidate response is generated and divided into material propositions whose support is evaluated against the obtained evidence. A validation state is determined using intent confidence, retrieval relevance, proposition-level evidence support and dialogue-state consistency. When validation fails, a deficiency-specific operation comprising targeted clarification, alternate retrieval, response regeneration, service retry or human escalation is performed. Only a response independently satisfying the validation criterion is released, and a provenance record links the response to supporting source identifiers, dialogue-state version and validation information.
