MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641097848 A) filed by Intugine Technologies Private Limited on August 13, 2026, for System And Method For Multimodal Sensor-Fusion-Based Vehicle Unloading Location Validation.

Inventor includes Harshit Shrivastava.

The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTIMODAL SENSOR-FUSION-BASED VEHICLE UNLOADING LOCATION VALIDATION A system and method for multimodal sensor-fusion-based vehicle unloading location validation telematics system validates the physical location of a vehicle loading or unloading event detected by a single, cabin-mounted GPS-and-motion-sensor device. A processor detects a candidate event from motion-signature cluster data assessed against a continuously learned, vehicle-specific baseline that compensates for the attenuated motion-sensor data characteristic of cabin-mounted, non-bed-mounted sensor placement. Where the GPS-derived location of the candidate event exceeds a positional-uncertainty threshold, a fusion engine resolves a corrected location by combining, as confidence- weighted evidence, satellite imagery, street-view imagery, OCR-read signage, visual classification, point-of-interest data, customer/consignee master data, and historical validated halts, and classifies the event accordingly. The system further supports bandwidth-optimized transmission of summarized motion-sensor data with trigger-based upload of raw data for low-confidence or flagged events, and derives cargo-state, vehicle-health, and supply-chain intelligence outputs from the same platform.
