Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Multimodal Behavioral Monitoring and Adaptive Intervention Using Predictive Analytics The present invention relates to a system and process for multimodal behavioural monitoring and adaptive intervention through predictive analytics. The system combines a wearable device and a companion computing device to gather multimodal data consisting of physiological data, motion behavior, digital interaction behavior, and contextual data inputs. A pre-processing unit is employed to filter, normalize, and extract features from the collected data. Then, the multimodal data fusion unit creates a composite behavioural state model. An adaptive behavioural modeling unit identifies an individualized baseline model and calculates the behavioural instability index. A predictive analysis unit predicts the probability of an intended user activity in a specific time window. With the prediction results and behavioural instability index, a decision-making unit decides whether there is an intervention situation, and an intervention control unit implements adaptive interventions such as alerting, advising, or selectively delaying or interrupting user behavior. The present invention also includes adaptive learning to improve the accuracy of behavioural modeling and adaptive intervention strategy. Fig. 3
