Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTI-DOMAIN NETWORK PATH OPTIMIZATION ACROSS ENTERPRISE AND CLOUD NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE A method for controlling packet transmission across a plurality of network domains of an enterprise and cloud network infrastructure is disclosed. The method includes receiving network-state data. The method includes identifying, from the network-state data, a plurality of inter-domain connectivity points. The method includes constructing a cross-domain path representation. The method includes determining a path-state value based on at least a transmission condition and a resource condition associated with the path segment. The method includes selecting a sequence of path segments. The method includes generating, for at least one network device (102a, 102b, or 102n) associated with the selected sequence of path segments, a forwarding configuration corresponding to the selected sequence. The method includes transmitting the forwarding configuration to the at least one network device to modify packet forwarding through the selected sequence of path segments.
