MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641091360 A) filed by K. S. R. M College Of Engineering on July 28, 2026, for System And Method For Monitoring And Diagnosing The Health Condition Of A Vehicle In Real - Time.
Inventors include Dr M Venkatanarayana; D. Mamatha; Kuruva Linganna; and Manupati Gnaneswar.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and method for monitoring and diagnosing vehicle_health_conditions in real-time. The system (1_0_0) comprises an onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) connector (102), a CAN transceiver (104), a microcontroller (106), a cloud server (108), a database (110), and a web dashboard (112). The OBD-II connector (102) receives communication from multiple electronic control units through a CAN bus. The CAN transceiver (104) is in connection with the OBD-II connector (102) to convert differential CAN signals into logic-level signals. The microcontroller (106) in circuit connection with the CAN transceiver (104) interprets the logic-level signals and decodes the operating parameters data of the vehicle. The cloud server (108) receives the operating parameters data from the microcontroller (106) through a Wi-Fi network. The cloud server (108) is in two-way communication with the database (110) and the web dashboard (112).
