Abstract: “SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING ERGONOMICS OF AN OCCUPANT IN A VEHICLE” Disclosed herein is method for managing ergonomics of an occupant in a vehicle (102). The method includes receiving data from a plurality of input sources. The method includes determining an occupant posture state by combining at least two portions of the data according to one or more confidence values. The method includes generating an occupant-specific anthropometric digital twin (206) based on the determined occupant posture state. The method includes determining, for a plurality of occupant body regions, a deviation between a current posture parameter of the occupant and a corresponding baseline parameter of the occupant-specific anthropometric digital twin. The method includes computing an ergonomic condition value based at least on the deviation and a context-dependent threshold associated with at least one occupant body region. The method includes selecting an ergonomic response level based on the ergonomic condition value. The method includes initiating at least one vehicle-associated action. [Figure 1]
