MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631102599 A) filed by Senjam Nongdrenkhomba Singh on August 25, 2026, for System And Method For Issuing Coded Answer Material In An Examination Hall.
Inventor includes Senjam Nongdrenkhomba Singh.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method (1000) of issuing coded answer material in an examination hall (102) includes providing desk terminals (200) fixed to candidate desks (204). A hall controller (300) couples to the desk terminals (200). A certified coding device (400) couples to the hall controller (300) and has a device controller (428) with a primary marking unit (416), a verification scanner (410) positioned before an ejection point (412), an ejection sensor (424) and a monotonic issuance counter (426). The hall controller (300) receives a request message carrying a seat ordinal and no candidate identifier, verifies the message authentication code and counter value, and instructs the certified coding device (400) to produce one answer sheet bearing a code for the seat ordinal. The verification scanner (410) verifies the code before ejection, and the monotonic issuance counter (426) increments only upon confirmation by the ejection sensor (424) that exactly one sheet has left an output path. An egress control (106) releases for a seat only where counts of sheets instructed, delivered and collected agree. (
