MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541024805 A) filed by Ather Energy Limited on March 19, 2025, for System And Method For Isolated Measurement Of A Voltage.
Inventors include Agrawal, Shyama; Singh, Shiv Aishwarya; and Mukherjee, Suvajit.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A system (122) for isolated measurement of a voltage is disclosed. The system (122) comprises an opto-emulator module (310) having an input circuit (312) and an output circuit (314) electrically isolated from each other. The opto-emulator module (310) produces an output current in the output circuit (314) proportional to an input current flowing in the input circuit (312) based on a current transfer ratio (CTR). The input circuit (312) comprises an impedance decoupler module configured to produce the input current corresponding to the CTR based on the voltage. The output circuit (314) comprises a current-to-voltage converter module (318) connected across output terminals of the opto-emulator module (310) to establish an output voltage based on the output current and maintain a CTR-corresponding potential difference across the output terminals. The output circuit further includes an analog-to-digital converter module (326) configured to measure the established output voltage.
