Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Intelligent Patient Health Monitoring and Risk Prediction The present invention provides a system and method for intelligent patient health monitoring and predictive risk assessment. The system takes synchronized physiological data from multiple medical sensing devices, then assesses the reliability of each sensor by employing a Dynamic Sensor Reliability Index to detect unreliable measurements and adaptively reconfigure sensing operations. A physiological digital twin is generated and continuously updated based on validated physiological, behavioral, environmental, medication and clinical information to model the patient’s health condition. The system reconstructs temporal health trajectories, simulates multiple future physiological scenarios, and carries out adaptive multi-layer clinical risk fusion for predicting possible health deteriorations. An explainable decision module generates prioritized clinical intervention recommendations with confidence measures. An adaptive alarm validation mechanism suppresses false alarms based on contextual and multi-sensor consistency analysis. Edge-based processing enhances communication efficiency and a dynamic health knowledge graph enables intelligent clinical reasoning. The disclosed system provides reliable, accurate, adaptive and real-time patient monitoring with improved prediction accuracy, reduced false alarms and improved clinical decision support.
