Abstract: ABSTRACT [0026] A computer-implemented system (100) and method for crop stress diagnosis and intervention planning are disclosed. The system (100) includes one or more processors (102) and a memory (104) configured to implement a data integration engine (106), a crop state generation engine (108), a stress reasoning engine (110), and an intervention planning engine (112). Agricultural data received from one or more heterogeneous data sources are transformed into a normalized agricultural data representation. A structured crop state representation is generated based on the normalized agricultural data representation and includes observed crop characteristics, environmental conditions, management parameters, and interdependencies thereamong. One or more crop stress hypotheses are determined using the structured crop state representation, and corresponding intervention strategies are generated by evaluating projected intervention outcomes. At least one recommended intervention strategy is selected and output, optionally together with an explanation identifying contributing observations and causal factors.
