Abstract: A computer-implemented system (500) for improving automated expertise matching accuracy in a distributed digital collaboration computing environment is disclosed. The system includes a server (110) comprising at least one processor (114) and non-transitory memory (116), a vector-indexed data store (108), and a network interface (112). The data store (108) maintains, for each user, a multidimensional expertise vector derived from automated machine analysis of digital work artifacts. The processor (114) continuously generates and updates expertise vectors using statistical term weighting and transformer-based semantic embedding techniques within a shared embedding space. Upon receipt of an electronic query, the system transforms the query into a query vector and performs accelerated cosine similarity computations to identify and rank candidate users. The system further monitors collaboration communications to detect resolution events, computes normalized collaboration benefit values using semantic distance and contextual weighting, and updates expertise vectors using the benefit values as feedback, thereby adaptively improving future query-to-user matching accuracy.
