Abstract: A system and method for implementing a reliability design framework for a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) ruggedized Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is disclosed. The method includes performing reliability-driven design analysis by evaluating thermal, structural and electrical stress conditions to determine stress margins, junction temperature parameters and failure modes. Outputs are structured into a reliability parameter dataset comprising predicted stress values, derating thresholds and failure mode indicators. Testing conditions, including stress levels, sequencing and duration, are determined based on the reliability parameter dataset to correspond to thermal, vibration and electrical stress conditions. Test results obtained under the testing conditions are processed to generate a validation feedback dataset including detected failure instances, stress-induced performance deviations and degradation characteristics. Manufacturing control parameters, including process temperature limits, humidity thresholds, electrostatic discharge protection levels, bonding parameters and coating parameters, are determined based on the validation feedback dataset and the reliability parameter dataset.
