MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641104261 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Hyderabad on August 29, 2026, for System And Method For Generating Parametric Architectural Structures From Physically Simulated Wave Fields.

Inventor includes Fabin Rasheed.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING PARAMETRIC ARCHITECTURAL STRUCTURES FROM PHYSICALLY SIMULATED WAVE FIELDS The present invention relates to a browser-based computer-implemented system (100) for generating parametric architectural structures from physically simulated wave fields. The system (100) simulates modal vibration of square and circular plates, a two-dimensional ripple-tank wave equation and harmonic strings. A frequency-control engine (116) drives wave simulations at selected frequencies and presents resonance peaks as selectable detents. A selected wave state is stored as a compact parametric record without field samples or mesh geometry. An Element Forge engine (120) extracts modal invariants including nodal-diameter and radial-zero counts, Bessel-zero-derived radii and nodal-band contours, and maps the invariants through architectural grammars to generate parametric elements. An Assembly Hall engine (122) composes the elements while preserving capture references for real-time regeneration upon retuning. The system (100) generates technical drawings, manufacturable solid files, photorealistic renderings and compressed URL-based scene representations. (Fig. 2)
