MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641091611 A) filed by Eraya Intelligence System Private Limited on July 28, 2026, for System And Method For Generating And Maintaining A Cryptographically Verifiable Identity For Land Parcel.
Inventors include Girish M B; and Kumaraswamy Mangai Alamelu.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AND MAINTAINING A CRYPTOGRAPHICALLY VERIFIABLE IDENTITY FOR LAND PARCEL A sovereign land digital identity system (100) and method (200) for generating and maintaining a cryptographically verifiable identity for a land parcel are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a transceiver (102) configured to receive land-related information from multiple external sources and a server (104) communicatively coupled thereto. The server (104), through processing circuitry (114), is configured to extract and normalize geospatial information, generate deterministic geospatial hashes, authenticate legal documents to generate cryptographic document hashes, and integrate the generated hashes with administrative metadata to generate a unique Sovereign Land Identifier, SLID. The generated SLID is validated using weighted consensus involving permissioned institutional validation nodes and recorded in a permissioned distributed ledger. The processing circuitry (114) further detects unauthorized modifications, maintains timestamped historical land-state records, and provides secure interoperable access through application programming interfaces to facilitate tamper-resistant, auditable, and interoperable land governance. Figure 1 will be the reference.
