MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075010 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on June 17, 2026, for System And Method For Fraud Detection And Trust Evaluation In Digital Donation Platforms.

Inventors include Dr Priya V; and Ashwini V.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a fraud detection and trust evaluation system (100) for a digital donation platform including a memory (102) and one or more processors (104). The one or more processors collect multi-modal data including financial transaction data, micro-donation payment data, cyber communication data, behavioral activity data, and graph relational data. The one or more processors generate structured analytical datasets, detect anomalous financial transactions using machine learning models, identify high-frequency low-value fraudulent transactions by performing temporal and sequential transaction analysis, construct transaction graphs with nodes representing entities and edges representing transactional relationships, detect coordinated fraud clusters using Graph Neural Networks, identify phishing activities using natural language processing models, determine attacker-defender interactions using a game-theoretic model to adaptively adjust fraud detection thresholds, generate a dynamic trust score, generate interpretable explanations, and perform real-time fraud detection and adaptive trust evaluation.
