MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641107797 A) filed by Coo Technologies Private Limited on September 08, 2026, for System And Method For Event-Driven, Multi-Dimensional Allocation Of Manufacturing Tasks With Cross-Shift Continuity In An Industrial Environment.
Inventors include Dr. Swarna Ravindra Babu; and Ms. Swarna Shreya.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: A system and method for allocating manufacturing tasks in an industrial environment are disclosed. Production order data and real-time operational data including machine status and operator availability are received. A scheduling engine generates candidate allocation states associating a manufacturing task with a machine, an operator and a shift interval. The candidate states are evaluated using machine availability, operator skill compatibility and a shift continuity parameter, and a selected allocation is dispatched for execution. An event detection module detects an operational event affecting execution. In response, an execution state associated with the task is retained, candidate allocation states are re-evaluated using current operational data and the retained execution state, and a revised allocation is dispatched. The revised allocation enables continuation of a partially completed manufacturing task across a shift boundary without redefining the manufacturing task.
